Cinco De Mayo

The concept was to design an invitation for an event. The elements it included were the invitation, RSVP, time and place. I wanted to do an invitation that’s different from a traditional invitation to a party or wedding. I wanted to create an invitation for Cinco De Mayo. I did this because it links back to my Hispanic heritage. I researched appropriate colors, symbols, flowers and even created my own Hispanic paper flags (papel picado) with their intricate illustrations.
